COORDINATED VEHICLE ARRIVAL
Select invited vehicle groups will arrive at the fairgrounds together as a coordinated convoy from an off-site staging location. Upon entry, vehicles will proceed directly to their designated display area under staff escort.
This is a controlled arrival, not an on-site vehicle procession. All movement takes place at the entry point and goes directly into the assigned display zone.
If You Are Part of a Coordinated Arrival Group
You will receive separate arrival instructions as part of your welcome package. Those instructions will cover your off-site staging location, departure time, and entry details. The following rules apply to all coordinated arrival participants:
- Maximum speed at all times: 5 MPH.
- Your vehicle must be in safe operating condition upon arrival. No fluid leaks permitted.
- A dedicated MMF escort team will guide your group from the entry gate to your display area. Follow their direction at all times.
- Stay with your group. Do not break formation or self-direct to your spot.
- All vehicle movement is staff-controlled. No vehicle moves without direction from the MMF team.
- No burnouts, revving, aggressive driving, or exhibition behavior of any kind.
- Once parked, engines off. Vehicles may not be restarted during event hours.
- If your vehicle has a mechanical issue during arrival, signal the escort team immediately.

MAP & PARKING
Event Map
Maps of the festival grounds is available here. These maps will show general zone layout, entry gates, restrooms, food & beverage areas, first aid, and parking.
Attendee Parking
- Attendee parking is first come, first served.
- MMF strongly recommends rideshare or drop-off. Uber and Lyft are available throughout the Monterey area.
- Parking availability is not guaranteed. Plan accordingly and arrive early if driving.
Exhibitor & Vendor Parking
Exhibitor and vendor parking details will be provided directly to approved exhibitors and vendors in their welcome materials.
WILL CALL
Will call details are being finalized. Hours, location, and eligible ticket categories will be posted here closer to the event date.

FESTIVAL RULES
The following rules apply to all attendees, exhibitors, vendors, and participants at MMF 2026.
Vehicle Rules
- No unauthorized vehicle movement on the grounds at any time.
- All vehicles must remain parked in their assigned zones during event hours unless directed by MMF staff.
- Maximum speed on the grounds is 5 MPH at all times.
- No speeding, burnouts, revving, or exhibition driving of any kind.
- No alcohol consumption by any driver operating a vehicle on the grounds.
- Engines off once parked. Vehicles may not be started during event hours.
- Driving is permitted on paved roadways only. No vehicles may drive or park on lawn areas without prior authorization from MMF staff.
- Any damage caused to lawn areas will be billed to the responsible party.
General Conduct
- It is unlawful to bring alcoholic beverages onto the premises. Alcohol will be confiscated, and a fee may be charged to the responsible party.
- All participants must follow the direction of MMF staff, security, and the onsite Fire Marshal at all times.
- Treat fellow participants, vendors, and attendees with respect.
- No vendor or exhibitor may begin breakdown or load-out before the official end of the event without prior approval from MMF production.
- MMF reserves the right to remove any participant, vendor, or exhibitor from the event for any safety or conduct violation without refund.
- Shoes and shirts are required at all times.
- No blocking or obstructing any building, booth, exhibit, gate, stage, doorway, fire exit, stairway, or walkway.
- No fighting, aggressive horseplay, or throwing objects.
- No disruptive profanity, or threatening or vulgar clothing, language, or signage.
- No distribution of flyers or unauthorized signage on the grounds without prior MMF approval.
- All attendees, vendors, and exhibitors are subject to security screening, including bag checks, at entrance gates.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are not permitted on the grounds:
- Guns, knives, mace/pepper spray, or any item that could be used as a weapon
- Alcohol or illegal substances of any kind
- Glass bottles
- Ice chests or coolers
- Outside food or beverage
- Chairs
- Pets, other than approved service animals
- Tents, tables, or large shade umbrellas
- Fireworks or combustible materials
- Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, skates/rollerblades, or Segways
- Helium balloons
FIRE SAFETY
- All vehicles must be parked at least 10 feet from all buildings.
- Vendor and exhibitor setups must maintain 10 feet of clearance from all buildings.
- All roads and aisles must maintain a minimum 14-foot clearance at all times.
- Fire hydrant areas must remain clear with a minimum 10-foot clearance.

EXHIBITOR & VEHICLE LOAD-IN
This applies to all invited participants and exhibitors who are bringing vehicles to the festival.
Load-In Schedule
- Standard Load-In: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Hard Deadline: All vehicles must be parked in their designated area no later than 3:00 PM.
If you are unable to arrive by 3:00 PM, please contact the MMF team as soon as possible. Late arrivals are not guaranteed entry.
Gate Entry
- Standard vehicles: Enter through Gate 4
- Off-road vehicles: Enter through Gate 6
- Gate address: 2004 Fairgrounds Road, Monterey, CA 93940
- The MMF check-in team will be at the gate to greet you and direct you to your designated area. Just follow staff direction — no need to find your spot on your own.
Your Designated Area
- You have been pre-assigned a zone and a specific area within that zone.
- A map of your assigned section is included in your welcome package.
- Your color-coded parking pass identifies your zone. Display it on your dashboard or rearview mirror upon arrival.
- Car support staff will assist with placement once you reach your zone.
Your Tickets
- Two General Admission tickets are included in your welcome package.
- Tickets are required for entry through the main festival gates at 5:00 PM. Keep them with you.
Load-Out
- Load-out begins at 11:10 PM through Gate 6 and will continue until 12:00 AM.
- An additional load-out window will be available Sunday, August 16 from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
- Do not approach or start your vehicle until car support staff give you clearance.
- Staff will escort you to the exit gates in an organized sequence. Please be patient and wait for your zone to be called.
