The Monterey Motorsports Festival, a premier event showcasing an impressive array of modern and classic cars alongside a host of automotive experiences, is set to drive support towards local community efforts in its inaugural event on August 17, 2024.

The festival is proud to announce partnerships with three distinguished charitable organizations for its upcoming event: the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey, Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation, and the Monterey County Family Justice Center. A portion of all proceeds from the three-day festival will be donated to these pivotal organizations, supporting their invaluable contributions to the local community.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey

Part of the community since 1968, this nonprofit operates two clubhouses that serve an average of 500 children a day. It embraces a mission to inspire and empower local youth to realize their full potential and become responsible, healthy, productive and successful citizens.

Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation

The vision of this nonprofit is to ensure the future of the Monterey County Fair & Event Center as a vibrant and diverse community venue. MCFEC boasts two outdoor performance stages, sprawling lawns, concessions kitchens, barns, seven rentable halls, a full service RV Park and an off track betting facility called Monterey Bay Race Place. Built in 1936, it has been home to many renowned events, including the annual Monterey County Fair, the Monterey Jazz Festival and the 1967 Monterey International Pop Music Festival.

The center shares a commitment of healing, community and safety, striving to integrate partners to create a comprehensive service network to alleviate or prevent crimes of violence. It’s a place for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking to receive the services they need.

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for local non-profit organizations to partner with the Monterey Motorsports Festival, a premier event celebrating the spirit of automotive culture and community engagement. Our festival aims to bring together car enthusiasts and the local community and support and spotlight the incredible work of non-profit organizations in Monterey County.

We are inviting non-profits to apply to become one of our twenty selected beneficiaries. This unique partnership is designed to provide valuable exposure and fundraising opportunities for your organization while contributing to the festival’s success.

Benefits

Event Participation

Beneficiaries will staff a booth at the festival to share information about their non-profit with attendees throughout the event day.

Promotion

Partners are expected to promote the event to their database through 5 social media posts before the event, two newsletter spotlights, and word-of-mouth promotion by staff and ambassadors.

Fundraising Opportunity

Each selected non-profit will receive 50 general admission tickets to sell and keep the profits or auction off as a fundraising initiative. Additionally non profit partners will be give a promo code specifically for their database and allowed to off.

Event Presence

Credentials for up to 4 staff members to work and engage with attendees.

Dear Non Profit Partners

Thank you once again for joining us and tabling at the Monterey Motorsports Festival on August 17th. We are thrilled to partner with you for this event.

We will send you a social media toolkit complete with graphics and content for sharing by early next week. This will help you promote your participation and the festival to your network.

IMPORTANT:  You should have received 50 General Admission Tickets intended for use as a fundraising tool. These tickets can be auctioned off or used in any fundraising capacity you see fit, with the goal of raising money for your non-profit organization.

Here are some basic details about the event:

  • This year, we will feature a large Family Fun Zone with numerous activities for all ages.
  • The Globe of Death will be performing four times in the arena, adding an extra thrill to the festivities.
